Assaf Mousa Ahmed Alkhraty is a Gaza-based artist who transforms scrap metal from rubble into inspiring sculptures. A self-taught creator, his art reflects resilience and finds beauty in unexpected places, drawing inspiration from local culture and cinema.

Originally from the village of Moghragah, which was completely destroyed, Assaf's works have returned to rubble, but his spirit remains strong. He hopes to recycle his lost sculptures into new pieces that symbolize rebirth from destruction.

Currently, Assaf volunteers at the camp where he takes shelter, providing emotional support to children through face painting and drawing, spreading laughter and hope in difficult times.
